Then why are you here seeking advice if TWO attorneys found your
husband was within his legal rights?

Ask the two attorneys what is the penalty for disobeying a court order
    that granted biomom visitation?

There are two sides to every story. If there's a "history of abusive
behavior," that fact, if true, would have been taken into
consideration when the court ordered biomom's visitation.

Making arbitrary decisions to disobey a court order is tough to
explain to a judge. If your husband believes it is in the child's
best interst to disobey the court order for visitation, it is HIS
responsibility to get a modification. And, yes, biomom can ask the
court to find your husband in contempt of a court order. The burden
of proof will be on him to prove when he decided to terminate
    visitation without a court order.

YOU have no dog in this fight. If your husband feels he's within his
rights to disobey a court ordoer, then it's his choice. One can only
hope he chooses wisely and has the evidence to back up his decision.
