Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out on this one.
My daughter lives with her mother, (she has physical
custody) however, we share legal custody of our daughter.
I think that her mother will be going to jail because of
so many outstanding tickets and warrants. Can I go and
pick up my daughter and have her stay with me until her
mother gets out of jail? OR should I file a petition to
get custody while she is in jail?
