my ex abused our children physically. took a gun and shot
at our daughter twice. he only got deferred probation. he
moved to west virginia and i felt safe that he would not
be allowed to see the children as long as he was there.
just found our he was released in july which means he can
come back to texas and see the kids. supervised of course.
but he wants them alone and i said no. the two younger
ones where too young to remember the violence and
understand but my oldest is scared to death and does not
want to see him. how could they let him off after only two
years and knowing he has a record of family violence give
him almost the same rights as me? the younger ones want to
see him but again they dont understand what is going on
please help me.
