    Post: Mother frustrating visitation rights

    Posted by maddad on 10/02/07

I recently relocated over 1000 miles to be closer to my
daughter. The current order I had expired in Sept and we
are awaiting a court date. My daughter's mother either
has denied me mulitple visitations or has made it next to
impossible for me to see her (i.e saying she won't do her
fair share of travel, picking locations for drop off/pick
up that are further for me, dangerous roads, etc).

Is it better for me (in the courts eyes) to just bow to
her unreasonable demands or not see my daughter until we
can go to court unless she's willing to meet me 1/2 way as
we had always done prior to our order expiring?

How many times does she have to frustrate the situation or
deny me visitation before the court would consider a
change of custody? Also, she has no basis for this--I pay,
    I call, I visit, I'm involved, etc.
