Do you really think that deadbeat will hire an attorney?
Not likely.

To get him to stop harassing you: Don't take his phone
calls. Don't read his e-mails. You have a delete/erase key
on your computer/telephone. Use it!

If he has not legally estalbished his paternal rights to the
child, he has no rights whatover to your child.
Therefore, custody is NOT -- repeat NOT -- an issue until he
first legally establishes his paternity. And, once he does
that, your child is entitled to child support from him. If
he establishes paternity, he will likely be entitled to some
visitation unles the court determines it is not in the child
best interests (and denial of all visitation is exceedinglyl
rare). But sole legal and physical custody -- it ain't
gonna happen. And, shared custody is unlikely. But,
visitation, he will get unless the court determines
otherwise.

Meanwhile, stop freakin'. And for God's sake: Don't listen
to his threats. It's all flush material.
