Post: Modify Visitation No Attorney
Posted by sharon on 3/04/08
my fiance is going back to court with his ex wife as she has petitioned for more child support and he has petitioned to modify visitation. They have been divored for about 7 years and he originally agreed to her request in mediation to have less problems. It was ordered he could see children for a couple hours twice a month at a McDonald's while the mother was there. Over the years she has sometimes let him see them but most of the time completely ignored phone calls and not let him visit. Most of the time the children have been under the care of their grandparents(her parents) and stay there and go to school in that disctrict. How and what should he do to be prepared for going into court as he does not have an attorney and she does. What should he address in his deffense?
