I have permanent custody of my great nephew. Last Aug the
parental rights were terminated. The Biological father
voluntarily terminated his rights. The bio. mother
appealed the ruling and last week went and signed herself
up for childsupport. I have had this child for the last
25 months. He was 5 months old when I got him and I have
provided his sole support. Now in an apparent attempt to
have her rights reinstated. The child support also
includes insurance. I do not want to saddled with
insurance issues at all. My insurance provides excellent
coverage. So can I get this child support and insurance
dropped without making me look bad. Oh the court in one
county terminated rights and the child support was heard
in a different county . I do not know if the child
support county knows her rights were terminated. Any
thoughts. We live in Al
