My children were taking from me by CPS. CPS states that I
am neglecting middle child's medical needs. I have taken
middle child to doctor numerous times to get her diagnosed
as she has a uncontrollable behaviour and overwhelming
compulsion for food. They also took youngest daughter due
to scabs and scarring on body. Cps stated in assessment
report that child appeared to have bruises on back. CPS
was ignorant in the fact and didn't want to listen when I
said youngest daughter has skin condition that she is
currently under treatment for. Child has had skin
condition since infancy.

At no time was an attempt to place with blood relatives
made. It was stated anyone who wanted the children would
have to complete foster parent training which would take
months. I have researched and according to code IC 31-34-
4-2 the court shall consider placing child with suitable
and willing blood or adoptive relative caretaker,
including a grandparent, an aunt, and uncle or adult
sibling before considering any other out-of-home placement.

The next day children were taken to pediatrician. No
where in the pediatricians report did it state child had
bruises on back. It was acknowledged that child had
eczema and extensive scarring from such condition.

Later that day CPS case worker took stand and under oath
stated that youngest child had numerous bruises on back
and never did mention the child's skin condition to
Judge. Caseworker lied on stand to judge as bruises were
never documented on pediatrician report. Judge sided with
CPS worker to keep children in state custody.

My question is, this case worker clearly lied under oath
on the stand but yet they are still holding my children.
They are holding my youngest based on chest scabs. Can
anything be done such as appeal or something? I'm looking
into my own lawyer who I will pay because court appointed
lawyer told me and my witnesses that I should do whatever
CPS tells me to and that she tells that to all of her
clients because she's working on over 400 cases.
