    Post: Child support issue

    Posted by Shawna on 6/25/08

We (ex & I) had a hearing in early Feb. With the Friend of
The Court to establish child support among other issues.
With regard to the child support, Financials were requested
from both parties to determine Child support. Only I
forwarded this info to FOC. No action was ever taken
against the other party, the FOC simply based the Child
Support on the amount of income he stated at the hearing, (
which was a very low & incorrect. My attorney Subpeoned
financials from the other party as well as his employers,
however the FOC is still basing the child support on the
number he stated in the hearing. I do not belive the FOC is
correct, much less being ethical in this case. Am I correct
in thinking this or should I persue this matter further?
