Post: Motion To Enforce Hearing Date Set?

    Posted by Eddie on 6/29/08

My ex is withholding my child from me. We were never
married. Since I filed a Temporary Order for visitation in
January she started this in May. Our communication has
always been strained and is extremely volitale. I had my
child for her birthday in May and noticed what looked like
a bruise on her arm. My mother and brother looked at it
and when asked what happened to her arm, my daughter said
her grandmother hit her with a stick. Knowing how her
mother, grandmother and aunt are (they all 3 live
together) I called an officer to my home and had him look
at it for advice. He too couldn't tell if it were a bruise
or not, but after explaining our history, he suggested I
take her to the doctor just to be sure. Of course my
concern was that my daughter was safe, but to also protect
myself from any allegations they might make that I did
something to my child. As emergency rooms go, we were
there for quite some time. I was in danger of being late
for the drop off. So I called (as ordered to do) and that
set off the fireworks. Grandmother and aunt came rushing
to the hospital. When asked what happened to her arm, my
daughter stated it again in her grandmothers presence and
thats when she removed the child before she could be seen
by a doctor. They instantly accused me of accusing them
of child abuse. The nurse called the police as they went
rushing off. Phone calls and emails flew back and forth
in the days to follow. Since that time she has lied to
police to disallow visitation and I haven't seen my
daughter in over a month. The Motion to Enforce has been
filed and the hearing is tomorrow! I don't have an
attorney but see that she has acquired one. Court case
    notes say: Appearance of Councel; Motion for Continuance;
Original Answer; Private Process Service all on the 25th.
Then for the 30th is Motion Hearing; Motion for Withdrawal
of Counsel; Motion for Continuance. What do I do?
