Post: disabled child

Posted by desiree anderson on 10/01/08

Monday sep 29th i took my daughter to the hospital she was
born at 22 weeks gestation and has failure to thrive,
chronic lung diease, and today 10-01-09 i went in to
hospital after work and was told they were filling a
report with the cps and that because she was too under
weight.. but remind you she was at the doctor 2 weeks
previously but now they said they didnt think she was
being fed because of weight.. i have papers with good
recommendation from physical and occupational therapist
that work with her weekly at home, i have papers from
dietary and her school giving good recommendations and
this isnt the first time they have done this.. nurse said
because paper was filled i cant leave room with my child
not even to go into play area alone.. can they tell me
this and i havent yet been investigated? shouldnt the
papers been filled the first day? can they keep coming to
my house for the same reason and claiming it as a false
report? the most recent time was 3 weeks ago they came and
took pictures and met with my children and said they see
nothing wrong! is it considered a bad parent to raise my
voice in front of my child.. what do i do ? most of all
the reporter who came out three weeks ago said report was
made 12-1-07 and the file was left on a workers desk who
left for medical leave and they just got it its now 8
months later and they have that right.. if something was
wrong they would of took the kids then right? please help
