    The court did the right thing.
    SSI cannot be garnished to pay child supoprt.
    The presumption is that the amount the SSI beneficiary
    receives is the minimum it takes to sustain the
    beneficiary's life. Thus, there's nothing left over to pay
    child support.

    No one said life would be fair for you or your child.
    That's just the way it is, and, no, it is highly unlikely
    that the law will ever be changed to make an SSI beneficiary
    pay child support.
