Yes I have a legal question. I dont know what to do. My ex is
wanting re-imbursement of spousal support and he understood
during our divorce and was willing to pay me alimony even though
he knew I was living with someone. Now he wants the money back
and wants to stop paying alimony all together . I have informed
09/08 that I was engaged and would be getting married sometime
in 09. I thought this was good news for him as he would not
have to pay me anymore. We were married for 24 years and I was
awarded alimony less than the standard of living. Please give
me some insight on what to do and what are my legal rights.
Can the judge make me pay back the alimony? and just because I
am getting married this year can he stop before I remarry?
