Post: Ethics

Posted by Jam on 3/31/09

I have a family member that has had dementia for several
years now and her son has POA. His mother is in the
hospital at this time with pneumonia. There is another
family member who has been causing problems and recently
his attorney who is aware of her mental health went to the
hospital and tried to get 1 of the nurses to witness his
mother sign a change of POA. Do you see a problem and if
so what should they do. Thanks for your thoughts
