My ex wife remarried a little over a year ago and moved my
two kids about 300 miles away still in my state. My 15
year old son is always telling me that he wants to move in
with me. My daughter says it as well she is 8. My ex
said when she moved them up there that they had to try it
for a year and than if they did not like it we would look
at them moving with me My son really wants to move in with
me and every time he brings it up to his mom and step dad
they make threats like he is not welcome there any more
and they will get rid of all his stuff and tell the family
not to talk to him etc.... so than he decides for a while
to stay up there. She screws me around on visitation and
if she gets mad decides they cant come sometimes. Her
only excuse for the kids not living with me is she hates
my wife the kids like her and they have a good
relationship and she told me some other women will not
raise her kids how ever another man is raising my kids and
I have not called and got mad or anything over that. My
ex is a control freak and it has to go her way she makes
us drive 120 miles one way to get the kids I know that in
my state she is responsible for the pay on kids visit
however I am unable to afford a lawyer right now to get my
visitation settled etc... any ideas for me???
