I live in Illinois, the question is am I required to pay
for college support? Is there any legal statue that
requires a parent to pay for college? If so could you state
where the statue is and reference it. My daughter is 18 but
soon to be 19 in two months. She refused to take the ACT
exam which jeopardize any chances of receiving scholarship
money. Now she wants to go to college, the only school that
accepted her with out in ACT score was University of Ohio.
Her mother or ex-wife is petitioning the courts to force me
to pay for college tuition. Do I have any legal recourse in
this manner?
