You mention all through out this chatboard how a woman can
put any man's name on a birth cert then get support with
out a court order!!
But yet the biodad has no legal rights unless he signs a
affidavit of paternity or a has a court ordered paternity
test done (Which 99% of the time he pays for)
So my question is what gives the state the right to start
sending child support notices and even putting it on a mans
TRW, EQI, and Esperian (credit reports) when it is clear by
state law a man regardless of paternity has no legal or
financial rights or obligations?
This is the second time I will have to go through this,
1st time it was not my child but it cost me a fair amount
of money to prove paternity and screwed my credit up for
years!!!! I was and still am under the impression that we
live in a country where you are innocent until proven
guilty!!
