I work in Social Services. Minor child (age 16) adopted at
age 11. Natural parents had rights terminated by court
order. Adoptive mother has allowed child to return to
natural parents, and will allow child to remain in the home
of natural parents. What are the legal implications of
this? Adoptive mother states she no longer wishes to parent
the child. Can adoptive mother legally relinquish parental
rights?
