a good friend of min is an illegal immigrant from Argentina.
He was recently pulled over in the state of CA. He was cited
for driving without a license. His utah license expired in
feb2009. His car was towed. He picked up his car the same
day. He was pulled over again by the same cop a few days
later, since the cop recognized the truck. he was cited
again for driving with out a valid license. car was towed
for 30days. I believe that this time, he presented his
international license. but it wasn't accepted. He has a
court date on Nov5 and another on Nov12. each a misdemeanor.
is there a possibility that he can be deported back to his
home country, or that his legal status will be an issue when
he goes to court?
