Post: H1 Holder with brother that is a U.S. citizen

I am currently on H1-B status, and my brother (a U.S.
citizen0 wishes to file for work permit (adjustment of
status to permanent resident) for me. Is this possible? If
it is, can the application run concurrently with my
employment-based permanent residency application? Is there a
possibility of obtaining a work permit upon filing through
my brother? I have a Masters degree from an American
University, and I am on my second H1 visa.

Which route is more advisable?
