Post: using two homeowners policies

Posted by G. Greene on 12/16/06
Our home was severely damaged by Wilma. The insurance company-State Farm did a claim 11/7/05. Because we had a flat roof which you cannot secure, and we continued to get damage afterward. After Nov 22 we were in a new policy the damage continued. We maxed out our coverage for 2004- 2005 policy I heard we could use the 2005-2006 policy to cover the difference. I wouldn't try it without a lawyer. We also have evidence of mismanagement of our claim in writing. We are in Florida. Do you know a lawyer that would be willing to take on State Farm? Help
