Re: health insurance for my daughter
Posted by Fanua SP. (SCUPS-Student) on 3/13/07

    Dear Ciff,

Yes, you may keep your daughter on your policy. However,
most plans offer a coversion package to individual coverage
under COBRA. You can also check with the State of Illinois
Health Dept for insurance program for your ex and your
daughter (contact: 1-217-782-6333). To check COBRA (Federal
Government) contact The Center for Medicare and Medicaid
Service 1-877-267-2323, Ext. 61565. They also have insurance
program for divorce individual or family.

    Good luck
