    Post: denying coverage

Posted by khalil brown on 3/15/07

i have a problem where my insurancecompany is trying to
deny coverage for an accident that occured two years ago. i
was on my cousins insurance he was being sent off to iraq
so being confused and in a hurry he signed the title to his
car and i signed it also. we were later told by his agent
we didnt need to do so. the car was traded by me in 2006
and an application for a new title was signed by me at the
delaership. however when the dealership sold the car the
submitted the old tittle and now the insuarance company is
trying to say i wasnt covered because they found out that
the title was signed and shayne was no longer the owner.
can u cancel a policy after the fact? even though they did
not know this at the time of the accident and we never
intended to turn this title into the registry. we paid the
coverage in full and no money was returned to us and no
notice was sent to us by then to say they were not covering
this accident or that the policy was cancelled after the
    fact .
