    Post: Television Shows

If a television series was in copywright in the late
forties and fifties (1958) and the copywright is over and
it is now in Public Domain, can someone obtain the rights
and then recopywright it? Or can a simple change such as a
new introduction or any other form of change make it
possible for it to be recopywrighted by the original owners
or by someone else. The series were 1/2 hour
    shows ...about 35 of them.
