Post: Message board parody-violate copyright?

We have a parody site in which we discuss, entirely in our words, some information listed elsewhere on a public message board. At no time are the posts copied from the original message board, not even parts of the post but the substance is discussed, and quite often ridiculed. The site is not referenced, rather the ideas and situations contained therein. Could this be considered copyright infringement, even though nothing from the site is copied directly? I think that parody of situations is fair use and free speech. Yes? No?
