I am not an attorney but check out law books from library,
legal discs with agreements, etc.
1. State date, name, address of people, who owes what, when
due, how much due, terms of agreement, who owes, any
collateral (something physical that if they don't pay, the
other person gets to keep that item) is an interesting idea,
what happens if payment is not made on time such as penalty
for late payment, rates of interest have to be stated
(Federal law), etc.
2. Have it notarized. Some banks do it free, check yellow
pages for notary public.
