Re: BA and no certificate

Many of the "big" firms don't necessarily need someone with a paralegal certificate as long as they are self-starters and intelligent and can show the firm that. I am in law school now, but I worked for 2 years straight out of school in a big firm in DC and I didn't have a paralegal degree. I double majored in political science and French but could write well and was responsible. You will learn the job as long as you can convince the firm that you can do it, which shouldn't be a problem. Go for it! On 8/21/02, Candice wrote: > Hello. I currently reside in Richmond, VA.
