    My boyfriend did it just by studying the MPEP and 37 CFR. He
    also went to the law library every day for months and sat in
    the reserve reading room, pouring over Patent Practice,
    otherwise known as the Kayton treatise. Of course, former
    editions of the Kayton treatise were authored by our patent law
    professor, Sam Sutton, so that might have helped.

    You might also want to purchase a book by Raj Abhyanker, which
    is available on Amazon.com for about $25. It is a guide to
    taking the Patnet Bar. He breaks it down very well.
