I am trying to find a salary range in the SF bay area for a
patent agent, (phd in chemistry & 3 years experience as an
agent) who will be in law school part time in the evenings
and as such will only bill 1500 hours instead of the
generally required 1800 (haha). I think this type of
position is called "law clerk" in some firms.

Alternatively, a link or reference to credible salary
surveys accessible to the public would also do the trick.
