hey my name is siobhan. I'm 15 and i live in Massachusetts.
I want to know how i can and if i can get immancipated. My
parents have been divorced since i was four. I live with my
mom and when i was younger she used to abuse me. I always
told my dad and he would never say anything because he
would say she threatened to take away custody and we won't
be able to see him. This could be taken lightly by anyone
else, but she could and would do that. Lately she's been
threatning to call the cops saying i have been a "
delinquent child". I don't think i have because ever since
i was in 2nd grade i've been staying home alone and making
dinner, cleaning, homework and keeping an high honors. This
year i'm at a cathoic private high school and i'm in all
honors classes pulling A's and B's and yet she says i'm
lasy and screams at me all the time. I have a stress
problem already and anything i talk about that she doesn't
agree with turns into this big deal. And i get grounded and
unable to see my friends one of the only things that make
me happy. I have tried even killing myself but when i told
her she just said i didn't make you do anything, you did it
yourself. I feel that she only keeps me here is so she
knows she has control of at least one thing in her life.
Please respond with the information i need on imancipation
and if i can get imancipated.
