Dear Melissa,
Try the O.Henry Paralegal School! It is on Austin, Texas. It is primarily a correspondence school. It is tuition free. They issue you a certificate the first day of school and tell you to go out and become a paralegal immediately. They will even help you print your cards up right away. You learn as you earn. No need wasting your time in a classroom listening to somebody tell war stories. They say that the best way to learn law is to get a good law book written by a Tulane or Harvard law professor (or Cornell) and find youself a comfortable place to sit in the corner, well lighted and with a good cup of Community coffee. That's the way to learn law! Then they tell you to go spend some time in court and at the courthouse just listening to trials and reading records. Best of luck! They belive learning law is all about watching, reading and listening to what lawyers and judges do, say and write. Best of luck!. W.S.
