Post: Another undergrad degree/IP question

Hi Folks, I am not a law student yet, just trying to survey my potential career options after a JD. I've read the QIS for a Patent Examiner, and read the undergrad degree requirements at the USPTO site. My Bachelors of Science in Information Technology degree (from University of Phoenix) is not on the list. I have 6+ exp years in database developement and administration split between Govt and Biotech industries. Questions: 1. What are my prospects (if any) in Patent law? 2. Does an IP attorney need to pass the patent bar also? 3. Would my degree/background fit into IP? thanks.
