    You can take the patent bar with a degree in Biology.
    However, most biotech patent attorneys have a PhD (or at the
    very least a MS). This seems to be what most law firms are
    looking for in biotech. You can get a feel of this by
    browsing a few patent firm websites and look at their
    attorney biographies. Also, look at some IP recruiting ads.
    This is not to say it is impossible to get a good patent job
    with only a BSBiology, but it appears to be more difficult.
