    Thanks for the quick reply. On another note, I know that one of
    the concerns about PhDs is that they are lacking in the people
    skills necessary for law (and I can certainly say that in my
    experience this is putting it nicely). I have very good people
    skills and am concerned that my resume and cover letter can't
    really express this well enough. Is this a valid concern?
