Re: Computer Science or Software Patent Attorney???

Thanks for the heads up. Yes, I was aware of this fact after looking at the bulletin for examination registration from the USPTO. Unfortunately, my school (Rutgers University) despite being in a tier 1 college was not on the ABET list. After calling the USPTO, I was told to still try submitting an application and file under Category B which looks at the entire transcript. I guess i just have to roll the dice... It doesn't seem practical to go back to school and spend another 2-3 years to make up classes for a BSEE... However, I'm interested in learning about what a typical software patent attorney career is like... the day to day... and etc....
