Re: Becoming a patent examiner AFTER law school?

There are a number of patent attorneys that worked as patent examiners at the USPTO after law school. Read some of the lawyer bios on the big patent law firm profiles. Think of examiner work as an internship. After about a year most folks who follow this track leave for patent law firms. In this poor job market, it is not a bad choice to consider the USPTO.
