OK, I have several questions.
I am seriously contemplating applying/returning to college
for a JD and then pursuing a position in IP law.
Here is my situation: BS/MS in Physics and also MSEE
10+ yrs experience in Electrical
Engineering
I am currently studying/practicing for the LSAT and
following that plan to study for the USPTO exam.
I'm also currently compiling my application docs for
next years' applications.
OK, here is the deal though. I'm an 'older' student,
meaning late 30s, and hope(planned?) to go to school
parttime in the evenings (so I can work/pay the bills
during the day). So, I'm looking for a information
on firms which hire folks for 'technical advisors/patent
agent' programs.
Also, a concern of mine is that my undergrad grades,
although they are 14 yrs old, are not that great (probably
like B's & C's). Also, when I started working I took
some night classes (about 1/2 dozen or so) and ended up
not doing too well (about 7 yrs ago) because of work
commitments and lack of interest in the subject matter.
*BUT* my grades in grad school were great in physics,
and reasonable in EE. Anyhow, I'm *hoping* that the
LSAT scores I get will help redeem me a bit from prior
grade problems. Does anyone have any info on this?

Also, based on my background, etc. can anyone
offer me any advice with respect to applications,
working in the field, etc.?
