Note: You need to check with the law schools you plan to apply before taking any advice from this board. My opinion based on my observations over the last several years is as follows: 1. The law school application service calculates your GPA up to the award of your first undergraduate degree. Graduate GPA or second undergraduate GPA is not included in the calculation. 2. I think they average LSAT scores taken within the most recent 3 years. Yes, if you really do poorly it can hurt you even though you did good on a later LSAT. 3. "some posts say the market is saturated, some say the earning potential is great and the career is very interesting" All the above are true. However, you need top credentials to get a job because the market is so competitive. If you do not have the credentials, there is a high probability you cannot find an entry level patent attorney position.
