Yes, many patent attorneys that I know attended George Washington during the night, and worked at the PTO during the day. It is a good way to get some real meaningful experience. But BEWARE, law is an ultra-competitive career field, your law school grades can make you or break you. Be sure to at least graduate in the top 10% of your class and write on law review. There are just way too many lawyers and too few jobs to go around.
