Re: Question about patent examiner jobs in DC

If you are an EE, you should not have much problem getting a job as a patent examiner during days. But these jobs don not pay but around $30k/yr. You need to check the USPTO website. After working your first year at USPTO, try moving up to a patent firm in DC while still attending law school at night. You do have an advantage by being in DC. It is extremely difficult to get an associate position as a patent attorney fresh out of law school with no patent experience.
