Well I don't think it's very likely....his shoddy lawyer didn't even complete the copyright form correctly - they left the "previous registration" section completely blank, and only applied for 9 or the 10 copyrights they are seeking damages for in the lawsuit. Also I read that even expedited applications can take 6 months - we have to file our response within 20 days.
