Post: Too Many Patent Lawyers/Agents?

I've recently graduated with a PhD in EE, worked in industry for a year and got laid off. I'm thinking about making a move to patent law, but I have some reservations. I see many former engineers moving into the IP field due to engineering lay-offs and outsourcing. At what point will supply outstrip demand? Or does there seem to always be more patents to write?
