    Post: lein

I am building a house in louisiana. Way back in September
of 2003, I paid for a total package for my house slab. The
contract included all material and labor for a complete
job. The work was performed and I paid the bill upon
completion. Now six months later, I get a notice from the
company that supplied the concrete for the job saying that
their bill has not been paid and that they are going to
place a lein on my house. I did not request this concrete
from the supplier nor did I enter into contract with this
supplier yet the lein is going to be placed on my house by
the supplier. What can I do? Is this how the law works in
Louisiana? Is there something that is not being told to
me? Any help would be appreciated.
