"Quite honestly, I believe that my non-ABA law school provides a fine education (but what do I know)." This is true. As a matter of fact, some non-ABA grads are better lawyers. Unfortunately, many of these folks are blackballed because of their pedigree. Like I stated before, there is a serious oversupply of lawyers which allows employers to cherry pick. This may be unreasonable or unfair but that is just the way it is in reality. Will your former law firm hire you as a patent attorney? This is your best opportunity. Also, have you considered going solo??
