Re: ABA v non-ABA law degree

I would love to have a solo practice but malpractice insurance is
too expensive and its too easy to get sued.

My former law firm no longer exists. It was a boutique and I think
it lost business to the larger firms.

I've had two recent interviews by law firms wanting agents and I
have one on Tuesday at a biotech company. So I'm not worried about
    finding work as an agent.

What I am wondering about is finishing my non-ABA law school course
because I am half way through. The work I am doing to fulfull the
requirements for the JD degree compromises my work because it is so
time consuming and I now question whether it is worth anything at
all toward promoting my career. I also really hate the thought of
studying for the CA bar exam.

    Thanks for your comments!
