Post: Seeking entry-level paralegal position in NYC
Posted by Michael Toomey on 10/31/05
To Whom It May Concern:
Having completed my undergraduate education at Tufts
University, I am now exploring opportunities for
employment as a paralegal. I am interested in all forms of
law, in particular international trade and finance. My
long term goal is to earn a JD; therefore the opportunity
to work in legal world is very attractive.
The following aspects of my background are most relevant:
• My internship with the Long Island Progressive
Coalition gave me great experience in coordinating
multiple NGOs around a common cause and in attracting a
significant group of people through self-directed
presentations, meeting, etc.
• My ability to perform independent research and
write extensive papers I attained over 8 semesters as an
international relations major.
• I have developed excellent skills in speaking,
reading, and writing Spanish during my 7 semesters of
study at Tufts and my semester abroad in Madrid, where I
studied exclusively in Spanish.
I am eager to discuss possible positions concerning my
future employment. I can be contacted at my cell phone:
631 525 3310 or my home: 631 385 7332 or at
MToomey2@gmail.com.
Sincerely,
Michael Toomey
