Post: lease renewal

My lease expires at the end of this month and I already
received a notice that my lease will not be renewed. They
building that I live in was recently sold. The new owners
claim that I am living in the apartment ilegally. They
said the beacuse I am not register to vote from the
apartment that I am currtenly living. What can I do?
