My intial security deposit was 1months rent $1500.00
Over the past 3 years the land lord has raised the rent and
each time he ask me to add the difference also to my
security deposit so they both match

Is this legal?
is the initial security deposit to increase as the rent
does?

Please hurry with answer he is about to raise rent again
and I just cant afford it
