    No, most states (unfortunately) do have legal protection for
    squatters. Usually you have to go through a regular eviction
    process, which is expensive and time consuming.
    You might try an eviction specialist as an alternative to a
    real estate attorney, as they tend to know the eviction
    process just as well and cost a fraction of the price.
    Good luck, and if you decide you want to evict them yourself,
    start by mailing them an eviction notice (see link).
