I need help please! I've been living in an illegal detached
garage (I know bad idea) in West LA for the last five
years. My LL and I signed a lease when I moved in. Earlier
this year my LL and I agreed I would move out by the end of
the year but now I don't want to go (I've had some
misfortune). He is offering me $3500 to leave but that's
not enough for me to move. Isn't there a law that he has to
pay me relocation money? Can he evict me? Does it matter
that its not permitted? Can I sue him? Thanks for help, I'm
screwed if I have to leave.
